Igokat at the Festival of Dance on May 7th, 2017 – Excerpts of  ‘Cinderella’

Daughter of a wealthy gentleman, Cinderella has become the servant of a vile
stepmother and her stepsisters: Javotte and Anastasia. One day, the king of the
country who decided to marry his son, organizes a dance involving all of the
girls in the kingdom. Cinderella's mice friends and cat Lucifer make her a beautiful
prom dress that unfortunately is torn in pieces by Javotte and Anastasia.
While the two girls and their mother go to the castle, the Fairy Godmother with
the help of the Fairy Confite and the Fairy Hypnosis transform a pumpkin into
a carriage for Cinderella to go to the castle. She magically transforms
Cinderella's rags into a princess dress and gives her permission to go to the ball
until midnight strikes. The prince immediately falls in love with the beautiful
unknown, but Cinderella, hearing the 12 strokes of midnight and flees.
In her flight, she loses her silver pointe shoes, too small for a regular foot,
and through which the prince find his princess.

Music, as always, very diverse: from Prokofiev to Doyle through
Adele and Bon Jovi.
Accompanied by video projections, the public will discover a magical world
where reality becomes a dream.
Many theatrical links that are touching, moving and full of humor.
